Ever had the heart to reach out to those who are in need? Every month our company holds a feeding program to different barangays in Negros. This month we went to Brgy Concepcion, Talisay City. The road going there is good, around 25 volunteered to help feed those kids in Concepcion. When we got there it was around 1:00 in the afternoon, it was humid as always but we were all happy to see the kids they gathered for our feeding program. We had games to cheer the kids up and bags with pencils, notebooks and other school supplies inside.
The kids were happy to get the bags we brought for them. Believe me, I only slept for 4 hours cause I had to wake up for the event but seeing their smiles was worth it.

Proud Wifey

| Inspiration |
Photography has been my passion, it all started when I got myself a Nokia N73 phone way back. Years back, we were skimboarding-addicts, I took a snap with my said phone one day and fell in love with photography. After working so hard I was able to save up for my first digital SLR (Nikon D40). I read bunch of tutorials for composition, post processing, anything related to photography. Until I fell love, and fell out of love, and found love again and finally settled down. Hubby loves photography too, here's his post-processed photo taken last week during their
Photodropouts' Pipol Workshop. So proud of him.

New Canon 60D
My hubby's so excited about the new Canon 60D, so do I. I've been eyeing a DSLR with HD video and I think this is it. It will be using SD Cards instead of CF cards though. And I'm not as techy as other photographers though. I used to own a Nikon D40, it was a good entry-level dlsr for a noob like me but since most of the people in our Camera Club owns Canon, i shifted to Canon (hahaha). I still love Nikon gears, but I ought to learn how to use Canon now.
Tried doing some research and this baby will be out last quarter of 2010 for around $1,090, so start saving guys! =)

Major Major Philippine Problem
Monday when a bus of tourists (i was about to type terrorists, haha) got hijacked by a dismissed police. I was on my first break when I went to our office pantry for a quick snack when I saw on the flat screen mounted on our pantry wall the hostage drama. I ignored it, I am careless at times so why care. Then tuesday night came, it was my off from work when I usually spend most of my time surfing the net checking out something or nothing interesting when people in facebook are ranting about how the police killed the hostage taker after long hours of negotiations, and more long hours of trying to break the bus windows? I checked all the videos in youtube alright and hey I just found out that there's really something to rant about. I dont want dig deeper on that it'll just ruin my day. But I want to sincerely extend my condolence to those people who's mourning for the loss of their loved ones. God's plan prevails, I know it happened for a reason.
Links I like
I will be maintaining a list of sites I usually visit.
Let's start with the Social Networking sites.
1. Facebook - this site can really give me lots of updates, from friends to local news.
2. Twitter - i rarely visit this one but this is really good for ranting out sometimes (hahaha).
3. Multiply - this serves as my buy & sell site other than ebay. Sulit.com drives me crazy sometimes, texts are everywhere but this one's neat.
